Book Fair

Grantville Halloween Parade

The East Hanover Twp. Park & Rec Board and the Grantville Volunteer Fire Company are excited to co-host the Township’s annual Halloween Parade. Groups and individuals, floats and feet are all welcome. Click here for more information.

Walk-a-Thon
October 27

Each class gains sponsorships and then walks laps around the playground. Family members are invited to watch or even walk with your child. The actual times of walk will be distributed the week prior to the event so that you may plan accordingly.
PTO Fundraising 101:

Feeling lost and overwhelmed by all of the Fundraisers? You aren’t alone. This is Part Two of a three-part series focusing on the three different types of fundraisers that you can expect to hear about from the PTO. If you missed last week's newsletter on the Walk-a-Thon, click here.
Part Two - Silent Fundraisers
Silent Fundraisers are an easy way for families to raise money for the school with the purchases that you are already making. These programs do not cost you anything, just a few minutes of your time.

1. Box Tops
Clipping, collecting and submitting Box Tops for Education earns our school a substantial amount of financial support each year. You can cut box top labels from any of these participating products. Each box top is worth $.10 cash to our school.

Although labels can be sent in at anytime and placed in the large soup can near the main entrance of the school, four box top drives are done each year. The first box top drive starts Monday, October 2 and runs through Monday, October 16. Look for the sheet to come home with your child.

If your child turns in a collection sheet by October 16 with at least 5 eligible Box Tops on it, they will be awarded a participation prize. Each child that submits 25 eligible Box Tops will be entered to win a $10 Five Below gift card. One gift card per grade will be awarded. Please check the date on the box top and send in only ones that have not expired.

2. Giant Bonus Card A+ Rewards
Giant A+ Rewards Program allows you to sign up to earn money (1% of your purchase) for East Hanover when you shop using your Giant Bonus Card.
This program costs you nothing. You are still able to collect your own gas rewards and you can register up to two schools on your Bonus Card.

To register email your 11-digit Bonuscard number to Suzie Hengst or go to Giant Bonus Card Registration to sign up. Our school code is 20679.

3. Target REDcard
Target Credit Card and Target Visa Credit Card account holders can sign up for the Take Charge of Education program by calling 1-800-316-6142 or by visiting Target.com/tcoe or an in-store kiosk.

Designate East Hanover Elementary and Target donates 1% of your Target Credit Card or Target Debit Card purchases (minus returns and sales tax) at any Target store and Target.com back to the school. Target will track purchases made on participating REDcards and will distribute the accumulated donations to schools each September.
