I declare a Penny War!

It's time for our annual Penny Wars race! Gather up all of your change and bring it to school this week! Each class will have a jug to collect money. Money raised during Penny Wars will be donated to Four Diamonds and will count toward East Hanover Elementary's Mini-THON total.

How the Penny War works:
1. Each class has their own container
2. Each penny counts as 1 point for YOUR classroom
3. Each silver coin counts as negative points for OTHER classrooms. For instance, dropping a nickel in another class's container subtracts points from their total.
4. On Friday, February 23 all points/money will be tallied and the classroom with the most points will win a Mini-THON prize pack and a treat!

A message from Mr. M.:

We are looking forward to Mini-THON after school on Friday, February 23!
